So much so that some models are being sold for a quarter-million, which is far more than they were sold for when originally released. This increased popularity has inspired the three founders of Mil-Spec Automotive to renovate classic Hummer H1 models and re-release them not only as good as new… but better. We’ve said it so many times in the past and we’ll say it again every time we get an incredible, customized, one-of-a-kind vehicle like the 2003 Hummer H2 sitting on our lot right now… our favorite vehicles to highlight are the special edition ones! While this H2 isn’t a factory-built special edition, its previous owners decked it out with all kinds of custom features and aftermarket upgrades. Today we’ve got a beautiful beast of a machine to highlight for you, and we don’t expect it to stick around in our inventory long. What would eventually become the iconic Hummer brand and line of vehicles started as a machine called the AM General Hummer H1, a vehicle that was manufactured from 1992 to 2006. Now more commonly known simply as the Hummer H1, it was inspired by the M998 Humvee, another AM General vehicle. Today, we’ve got a 1994 model for sale right here in North Miami Beach FL, and we thought we’d highlight some of its specs & features, so you know just how incredible it is. (more…)

As you know by now, we like to look at unique vehicles here on our blog. While special editions are great, we even love highlighting vehicles that you just don’t see on the road very often, like the Bugatti Veyron we covered earlier this month. Today’s model kind of falls into both categories, as it wasn’t exactly planned to be a special edition, but it only ended up lasting one model year as the brand was discontinued. The vehicle in question is a 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha, and it is of course currently for sale right here in North Miami Beach FL. (more…)
