Although the Bentley Continental has been around since 1952, it became something new in 2003 when the brand came under new ownership. The first generation of this new Continental ran until 2011, at which point the second generation kicked in. Several different configurations and models were introduced during the seven years that the second generation was on the market, including the W12, V8, GTZ and Le Mans Edition. Our favorite though? Like so often in the past, today we want to highlight another unique special edition vehicle. Back in February of 2011, 4-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen got behind the wheel of a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible and took it out onto a sheet of ice. From there, he proceeded to break the world record for max speed on ice, aka the Ice Speed Record or ISR, by traveling at 205.48 miles per hour.
