First of all, we’d like to extend a Happy Thanksgiving from the whole Prestige Imports team! We hope you enjoy your turkey day tomorrow, but today we’ve got a shiny pre-owned vehicle in the spotlight. For being over twelve years old, this 2008 Aston Martin Vantage is still in outstanding condition, with only just over 30,000 miles on its odometer. We’re always going on about how much we love special edition vehicles, today we’ll be returning to that well as we look at a special Launch Edition version of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11. The DB11 nameplate is one that we get here relatively often, but the Launch Edition is much rarer. The DB11 was just introduced for the 2017 model year, and the Launch Edition as a special model set to commemorate its freshman journey. Almost two years ago, Aston Martin introduced a concept car that promised to change the landscape of the brand. Now, two years ahead of when the plan to kick off production, the English manufacturer has confirmed that the al-electric Aston Martin RapidE will be joining their lineup in 2019. While we don’t have an official release date as of yet, they have confirmed that production will kick off in 2019, and that the model will indeed have an all-electric powertrain. (more…)
