Another one of these vintage throwback vehicles has made its way here to our inventory, the first we’ve seen from the ‘70s. We’ve had a few ‘80s models and even one from the ‘60s, but this is the first classic Toyota Land Cruiser from the ‘70s we’ve had a chance to highlight. For the first time ever, Automobili Lamborghini has entered the eSports arena by creating The Real Race. It’s a tournament taking place over the space of several weeks on the sim racing game Assetto Corsa Competizione, which was not only developed in partner with real automakers but is utilized by Lamborhini Squadra Corse test and race drivers when preparing for real-world racing. The company’s first official foray into the world of eSports has already kicked off, and you can watch the first event right here down below. While it might not be quite as vintage as the 1962 Corvette Hardtop Convertible we had for sale in late 2018, throwback vehicles – even a throwback to just under two decades ago – are some of our favorite vehicles to highlight. After all, a 2001 Chevy Corvette might not be as old as the 1962, but it’s still four generations ago. The 2020 model year saw the introduction of the eighth-generation Corvette, while 2001 was smackdab in the middle of C5, the legendary nameplate’s fifth generation.

If you’re looking at the title of this blog and wondering what exactly 8D audio is, it’s a relatively new trend most often applied to music. 8D stands for exactly what you’re probably thinking: 8-Dimensional.
