Last time we looked at an icon, today we’re going to look at a true legend. We’ve looked at Corvettes in the past, they’re the most popular exotic Chevy vehicle ever made, after all, but never have we looked at something as legendary as this 1962 Chevy Corvette Hardtop Convertible. 1962 was the final model year of the original Corvette, making this a true vestige of American muscle. We were in awe when this ‘Vette was driven onto our lot, and are pleased to have it for sale here in North Miami Beach FL.

Specs & Features
Powered by a 5.4L V8 engine, this ’62 Corvette is capable of generating 250 horsepower and hitting 60 miles per hour in just 6.5 seconds before continuing on to a full quarter-mile in 14.8 s. It was the fastest Corvette yet, only to be outdone the next year by the introduction of the Sting Ray. While the preceding year was the first model to introduce the “duck tail” aesthetic of the rear fascia that would last until 2014, the 1962 was the final model to feature the iconic wrap-around windshield, a solid rear axle and the convertible-only body style.
While we generally like collector vehicles like this to have a small odometer reading, the fact that this one has just over 70,000 miles on it means you know that this Corvette was enjoyed as well as an American muscle car should be, which makes it all the more alluring in our opinion.
