The 2023 Lotus Emira will offer two gasoline powertrains built to deliver blistering performance and maximum thrills.

The Emira First Edition will be powered by the much-loved and characterful 3.5-liter supercharged V6 tuned by Lotus to provide a unique and distinctive character for maximum driver engagement. This supercharged V6 makes 400 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque, and Lotus is targetting this engine to deliver 180 mph top speed and a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Base Edition, which arrives next year, will be powered by the world’s most powerful production 4-cylinder engine developed in conjunction with AMG. The Lotus-engineered 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged unit tuned in-house by the hugely experienced Hethel engineers delivers a heart-pumping 176 mph top speed and a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds.
