The Competition models are an even more powerful special edition variant of the M series of vehicles, so the 2021 BMW M2 Competition is currently the most powerful version of the BMW 2 Series, with the exception of the M2 C S, a track-focused version of the vehicle. The M2 Competition is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo straight-six engine capable of generating 405 horsepower alongside 406 pound-feet of torque. This enables the subcompact luxury sedan to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds when quipped with the 6-speed manual transmission, or 4.2 s with the 7-speed dual clutch – which this model has!
Premium Features
Certain upgrades and features set the M2 Competition aside from other versions of the vehicle. It features a plastic strut bar reinforced by carbon fiber, a larger set of kidney grilles, and a larger set of disc brakes. This specific model was enhanced with optional features, including opting for the aforementioned M Double-clutch Transmission with DriveLogic, the Executive Package, and the Hockenheim Silver Metallic exterior color option. The Executive Package includes a heated steering wheel, adaptive full LED lights, automatic high beams, wireless charging, a wi-fi hotspot and speed limit info.
