As if Ferrari models need high-performance variants, the 458 Speciale is just that for the 458 Italia. Built from 2013-2015, we currently have a 2014 model for sale right here in North Miami Beach FL. It’s been a couple of months since the last time we looked at a Ferrari, so we thought this beautiful machine would make a good subject for today’s spotlight.

Technical Specs & Performance Times
This high-performance variant of the Ferrari 458 is powered by an incredible powertrain. While the same 4.5L V8 engine is at its core, the engine was revised such that power could be increased to an impressive 597 horsepower (from 562 hp) and 398 pound-feet of torque. The electronic systems were all updated for the 458 Speciale too, and Ferrari introduced a side slip angle control system. All of this combines to allow the 458 Speciale accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in 3 seconds flat!

In addition to the powertrain enhancements, the 458 Speciale includes several other upgrades over the traditional Ferrari 458 Italia. They include forged wheels, a vented bonnet, finned side sills, a larger spoiler in the rear and a pair of refreshed bumpers. Those are just the bonuses over the traditional 458 though, there are still plenty of other great features found within the 458 Speciale.
To name just a few: a pair of LCD monitors in the front, lightly tinted windows, a clearcoat paint job, rear fog lamps, LED brake lights, projector beam high-intensity headlamps with washer and daytime running lights, dual zone front automatic air conditioning, a 12V DC power outlet and much more.
