We got another vintage Ferrari in stock, so of course, we’re going to be taking a look at it in today’s spotlight. This time, it’s a 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello that we currently have for sale here in North Miami Beach FL. Preceded on the lineup by the Ferrari Testarossa, the Ferrari 550 Maranello filled the brand’s 12-cylinder grand tourer slot from 1996 until 2002 when it was replaced by the 575M Maranello.

Performance Specs & Premium Features
For those six years that it was on the lineup, the Maranello was powered by the F133 A engine, a naturally aspirated 5.5L V12 featuring four valves per cylinder, dual overhead cams and a variable-length intake manifold. It was – and in this case, still is – capable of generating 478 horsepower alongside 419 pound-feet of torque. That kind of power enables this machine to hit a top speed of 199 miles per hour and to go from a complete stop up to 62 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds.
While you’re not going to get the same kind of features or technologies in a late-nineties Ferrari as you would in a modern model, the 550 Maranello is still a Ferrari and thus epitomizes luxury. It’s packed full of great features that make each experience behind the wheel enjoyable and convenient, though naturally performance is at the forefront.
