2018 Lamborghini Huracan vs 2018 Ferrari 488

For half a decade, the Lamborghini Huracan has been turning heads all over with it incredible style and equally impressive performance. It is a true legend of exotic sports car, as every Lamborghini model before it has been as well. But there are other vehicles out there that have built a similar reputation for themselves, so we thought we’d see how our icon measures up to some of these others. With that in mind, we decided to pit the 2018 Lamborghini vs 2018 Ferrari 488.

Unfortunately, you can’t win them all. We’ll be the first to admit that the Ferrari 488 outpaces the Huracan in a number of fields, which you can see in the table below and then read about further beneath that. Advantages of the Huracan

As stated, the Huracan didn’t fare incredibly well against the Ferrari 488 when it comes to technical specifications. The Huracan gives up 81 horsepower to the Ferrari, as you can see in the table. Although the Lamborghini weighs nearly 200 pounds less than the Ferrari, that’s not going to narrow that horsepower gap by nearly enough to make it competitive. Speaking of competitive, the final half of the table looks at track times. The Ferrari 488 is able to get to 60 miles per hours 0.3 seconds faster than the Huracan, and run the quarter mile 0.7 seconds faster.

Despite these facts, the Huracan still makes an incredible option. If you’re simply looking for the fastest supercar, then perhaps the Ferrari 488 is for you.
