Since 2018, Lexus has made the Lexus LC which is the successor to the Lexus SC. The SC was discontinued back in 2010. LC stands for luxury coupe, but it should also stand for performance as this thing is a borderline supercar. This machine can go from 0-60 mph in as little as 4.4 seconds. Of course, this is still a Lexus, so you can count on having premium materials, the best technology, and a vehicle that is extremely reliable. This also makes it an ideal model to pick up used.

There are two primary models of the LC with the LC 500 and the LC 500h. The difference between the two comes down to the drivetrain. The LC 500 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque all mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The LC 500h, on the other hand, utilizes a hybrid drivetrain. Its 3.5-liter V6 can output 295 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque, and it’s paired with two electric motors that combine to provide 177 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque. The system together is rated at 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.
Both of these models are available as either a fastback coupe or a convertible. Regardless of which you choose, the Lexus LC is a two-door model with seating for four and some serious attitude.
In addition to these two models, there is the LC500 GT500. A confusing name to be sure, but actually a racecar not built at all for the street. Of the 24 Super GT races it was entered in, it claimed wins in 14 of them, which is quite the impressive track record. As this model was based heavily on the design and powertrain of the LC500, you can drive your Lexus LC with the confidence of knowing that your car has a real racing pedigree.
