All the way back in 1947, the Ford Motor Company introduced a pickup truck called the Ford Bonus-Built. This was the very first pickup truck in the legendary Ford F-Series, the most iconic of which is without a doubt the F-150. The F-150 itself wasn’t introduced until 1975, in the midst of the F-Series’ sixth generation, to slate between the F-100 and F-250. The rest, as they say, is history. Different Ford F-150 Models Available

Some of the most iconic special edition versions throughout the years include the F-150 Nite from ’91 to ’92, the Eddie Bauer trim from ’94 to ’96, the SVT Lightning from ’93-’95 and then again from ’99 to ’04, the Harley-Davidson Edition from ’00-’01, the SVT Raptor from ’10 to ’14, the F-150 Platinum from ’09 to present, 2014’s F-150 Tremor and the updated Ford Raptor from ’17 to present.

Looking just at the current generation, which is the F-Series’ thirteenth overall, the Ford F-150 is available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited and Raptor trim levels. It is, of course, also important to note that the F-150 isn’t the only member of the F-Series line. While we typically get F-150 models in stock, there’s no telling when an F-250, F-350 or perhaps even higher might pass through our inventory. These trucks are bigger, bulkier and even better-equipped to handle heavy loads.
