2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast

Fresh off breaking all kinds of records around the European circuits, we thought we’d see how the fastest vehicle on the Lamborghini lineup measures up to one of its fiercest competitors on the market. To do that, we’ve decided to pit the 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast in a side-by-side comparison that would probably be much more fun on pavement than paper.

While we can’t personally line up these two vehicles side-by-side on the track, we thought we’d at least line up their specification next to one another in the table below. Even further down, we’ll go through the table row by row to help guide you through the competitive comparison.

Advantages of the 2018 Huracan Performante

In the first row, we took a look at the pinnacle of performance specifications: horsepower. Surprisingly, the Ferrari 812 Superfast delivers a truckload of extra power, specifically in the form of 148 HP total. Further adding to the surprise, at least for Ferrari fans, all of that extra power doesn’t get the Ferrari to 62 miles per hour nay faster than the Huracan Performante, as they both hit the threshold at an incredible 2.9 seconds.

The 812 Superfast is likely capable of hitting a higher top speed than the Huracan Performante, as it definitively tops out at 211 mph while the Lamborghini is a bit of a grey area, as we are only able to confirm that it can go faster than 201 mph. While fuel efficiency might not be your biggest concern in vehicles like these, it has to be a plus that the Lamborghini gets an extra mile per gallon.
