When it comes to the Audi brand, they have a range of high-performance models called RS models. These would be similar to AMG variants for Mercedes-Benz or the M series with BMW. Many of the models on the regular Audi lineup have RS variants, including the Q8, Q3, A5 and A7. Today we’re going to be focusing on one specific model that we’ve seen pass through our used inventory here in North Miami Beach FL previously – the Audi RS 7. The RS 7 first joined the lineup after its unveiling at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, so it’s only been a variant of the Audi A7 for the past couple of years.
Unlike most of the models we highlight with their own pages, the Audi RS 7 is actually a variant of another model rather than having its own variants to tackle. While there are plenty of A7 variants, there haven’t been special edition versions of the Audi RS 7 in its few short years on the market. So, instead of focusing on variants, we thought we’d give you the rundown on some of its technical specs and its performance times.
Beneath the hood of the Audi RS 7 rests a 4.0L TFSI quattro twin-turbo V8 engine. The powertrain makes the Audi RS 7 capable of generating up to 591 horsepower alongside 590 pound-feet of torque. All of that power enables the Audi vehicle to accelerate from a complete stop at 0 miles per hour up to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. It can then continue onto a top speed of 190 miles per hour when equipped with the available Dynamic Plus Package.
We can’t guarantee that we’ll have an Audi RS 7 model in stock when you’re in the market for one, but be sure to check our inventory if that’s what you’re interested in. Don’t see what you want?
