Almost every mainstream automotive brand on the market has a second brand that represents the company’s luxury division. While there are companies out there that make it quite obvious that their luxury brand is an extension of their regular lineup, such as General Motors’ Cadillac brand or Genesis for Hyundai, others are lesser-known and might even be a surprise to you. For example, did you know INFINITI belongs to Nissan? When it comes to the Ford brand, its luxury division is the Lincoln Motor Company. Established all the way back in 1917 as its own brand, Ford acquired the company in 1922 and never looked back. Every once in a while, we’ll have some used Lincoln models for sale right here at our showroom in North Miami Beach FL.
With over 100 years of experience, there have been dozens upon dozens of different models and nameplates to pass through the Lincoln brand’s lineup. Past models include such vehicles as the Blackwood, Capri, Cosmopolitan, Custom, EL-series, H-series, K-series, L-series, Lido, LS, Mark series, Mark LT, MKC, MKS, MKT, MKX, MKZ, Premiere, Town Car, Versailles, Zephyr V-12 and the iconic Lincoln Continental.
Perhaps the most iconic model to ever pass through the brand, the Lincoln Continental was first introduced back in 1939 and ran through 1948. It returned from 1956 to 2002, then again from 2017 through 2020. A lot of the Lincoln vehicles that pass through our used vehicle inventory are Continental models.
Current nameplates on the Lincoln lineup include the Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator and Navigator, the latter of which is probably the second-most iconic model behind the Continental. These luxury utility vehicles have plenty to offer and make great options for any driver looking for a premium SUV or crossover.
