Last year, Karma Automotive introduced the world to the next step in the evolution of the brand by announcing the GS Series. Not only will this new series of vehicles include the brand’s first all-electric vehicle, but it will also provide customers with a luxury vehicle that adopts the same exotic aesthetic and design cues as its predecessor – the Karma Revero GT – at a more attainable price point, all without sacrificing any of the vehicle’s performance or efficiency. The new 2021 Karma GS-6 will be powered by the combination of a 28 kW HV battery pack with a 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine and a 170-kW generator as well as a 400 kW 2-motor propulsion system. Altogether, this system is capable of generating up to 536 horsepower alongside 550 pound-feet of torque. That’s quite a bit of power, and while performance times haven’t yet been announced, we imagine it’ll be pretty quick.

The new GS-6 will feature what Karma refers to as a Human Machine Interface, a series of high-resolution connected display screens that puts connectivity and driver information front and center in a series of customizable information hubs. Info that can be displayed includes things like how steering feels, how aggressive acceleration is, the behavior of various advanced driver-assistive safety features, the display of cameras, and so on.

Speaking of safety tech, the Karma GS-6 will feature several standard Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems, including Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Keeping Support, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor, Curve Adaptive Headlights and Surround View Camera System.
