For a free event in Miami, you can head to Miccosukee Resort & Gaming any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a fun-filled day of carnival and airboat rides, water slides and even alligator wrestling shows. While the Freedom Festival<\/a> doesn\u2019t include a fireworks show of its own, it does end early enough to give you plenty of time to head over to somewhere else in Miami that will be putting on a show, like one of the following events.<\/p>\n

North Miami Independence Day Celebration by the Bay<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re looking for an Independence Day Celebration by the Bay in North Miami<\/a>, then you can head to Biscayne Bay Campus on the grounds at the Kovens Center for fireworks at sundown. The gates to the campus will open at 7 p.m. with free admission and parking. The evening will be filled with live music and other entertainment, plus a firework display after dusk. While things like blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray are highly encouraged, alcohol, coolers and personal fireworks are not permitted.<\/p>\n
