This list will only included models that have<em> officially<\/em> achieved these speeds. It\u2019s powered by a quad-turbo 8.0L 16-cylinder engine that is rated around 1,600 horses. You can watch it reach that speed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"860\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NkiyAZ63RT8\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/center>\n\n\n\n<h3>SSC Tuatara<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With a confirmed average top speed of <strong>282.9 mph<\/strong>, the SSC Tuatara is the second fastest on the list. The founder tested it and reported an average speed of 316.11 mph, but that was unconfirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Koenigsegg Agera RS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This supercar has a confirmed top speed of at least <strong>277.8 mph<\/strong>. Why do we say at least? Because the vehicle was running E85 fuel at the time, so it was producing less horsepower than normal. It\u2019s likely that it could go even faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Hennessey Venom GT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it wasn\u2019t a production car, this model reached <strong>270.4 mph<\/strong>. It&#8217;s powered by a twin-turbo 7.0L V8 that puts out 1,244 horsepower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Possible Record Breakers?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Numerous vehicles have been theorized to have incredible top speeds.
