While we\u2019re certainly known around South Florida for our exceptional lineup<\/a> of terrific exotic and import vehicles, our staff at Prestige Imports also has been known to enjoy its downtime. This often has been known to include trips to the Keys or a joyrides in one of our more notable models, but sometimes we just enjoy a quiet night at home. Of course, our day jobs are never far from our thoughts, so even when we\u2019re just flipping through channels, we sometimes enjoy a good movie. Here, from our staff at Prestige Imports, are what we consider to be the best films for supercar lovers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Best Films for the Supercar Lover<\/span><\/h2>\n

BMW\u2019s The Hire Series<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s amazing that this series of web films has been nearly lost to time, because it was pretty noteworthy when it first arrived. Featuring actor Clive Owen and a veritable who\u2019s-who of great guest actors, the eight short films feature Owen in multiple getaway situations in a series of world-class BMWs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Senna<\/h3>\n

A good way to ask if an auto enthusiast is serious about their craft is to to ask if they\u2019ve seen Senna. It\u2019s a documentary that follows Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, who was outspoken off the track and an all-world talent on it, and shows the unbelievable burden that drivers must endure in the service of their passion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rush<\/h3>\n

Again set inside the world of Formula One, this dramatization of the 1976 season — and the famed rivalry between Niki Lauda and James Hunt — is possibly the best non-doc ever made about racing. To truly feel the power of the Formula One racer, and see some behind the scenes goods from McLaren, Ferrari and others, this is your choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bullitt<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s funny that his film is probably more famous for its poster than for anything else, because it\u2019s truly a great movie. Steve McQueen is the star, of course, but his 1968 Mustang fastback and the giving-chase Dodge Charger R\/T should get above-title billing as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fast and Furious Series<\/h3>\n

We almost hate to include this on the list, if only because it\u2019s always relied a little too heavily on tuner cars than on the tried-and-true models we love at Prestige. That said, it has gotten better at showing supercars as the series has gone on, to say nothing of the fact that the films are pretty great to begin with.<\/span><\/p>\n
