In addition, the 918 Spyder features two electric motors, one that generates an additional 154 horsepower and another that adds 127 HP to the mix. That comes to a total of 874 horsepower as well as a total of 944 pound-feet of torque thanks to the electric motors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of that power translates to a top speed of 214 miles per hour and some pretty impressive performance times. For starters, the 918 Spyder can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 2.6 seconds. It can get from 0-124 mph in 7.2 s, or from 0-186 mph in 19.9 s. Those are just the official numbers from Porsche, plenty of independent tests have show even more superior numbers. For instance, Car & Driver hosted an independent test and managed to get from 0-60 mph in 2.2 s. Talk about speed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
