Performance Specs & Premium Features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As per usual, we\u2019ll start things off by checking out the performance specifications, as that\u2019s obviously the most important aspect of a vehicle like this one. Powered by a supercharged Honda 2.0L i-VTEC engine, the Ariel Atom R3 is capable of generating approximately 300 horsepower alongside 220 pound-feet of torque. That enables the lightweight machine, which has a curb weight of just 1,360 pounds, to get from a complete stop up to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds, or to 100 mph in 7.7. It can run a quarter-mile in 11 seconds flat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naturally, this vehicle is all about performance, so there\naren\u2019t a lot of premium features like safety technologies or adjustable seats.\nThere are plenty of premium performance-enhancing features, though, so we\nthought we\u2019d highlight just a few. The Atom 3R features JRi adjustable dampers,\nWilwood four-piston brake calipers, two-piece vented discs, 5-spoke Motorsports\nwheels wrapped in Toyota R888 tires \u2013 15\u201d up front and 17\u201d in back, hand-laid\ngel-coated composite body, a full carbon package and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
