Late last month, Lamborghini<\/a> unveiled an absolutely stunning concept vehicle that the company designed to appear in the next Gran Turismo video game on the Sony PlayStation 4. The company unveiled the vehicle through concept art and visuals, as is standard with a video game vehicle, but also via an actual, physical scale model that the company built! Named the Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo, we thought we\u2019d highlight some of the concept\u2019s design, specs & features that will be present when it becomes available in-game in spring 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is created to provide the ultimate virtual car for young fans and gamers, who are ultra-enthusiastic about Lamborghini and its futuristic aspirations. It is an opportunity for the design talent within Lamborghini to stretch its wings and visualize a car that, like every Lamborghini, is a head-turner and the best driving experience, but also mirrors Lamborghini\u2019s push on future technologies, particularly in the arena of lightweight materials and hybridization.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Powertrain & Design<\/h3>\n

There are a lot of really unique and incredible aspects of this virtual vehicle. For starters, it\u2019s a single-seat vehicle in which drivers enter from the front like a jet fighter. Next, it\u2019s powered by the electric powertrain that was introduced in the Sian limited edition hybrid super sports car<\/a> introduced earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The vehicle\u2019s design is impeccable and clearly futuristic. While it builds on the foundations of Lamborghini design DNA, it definitely takes everything up to the next level, focusing on aerodynamics. For instance, the massive wing and Y-taillight nearly take up the entire rear end of the vehicle while the main body of the vehicle is disconnected from its fenders. On the inside, controls are all centrally located within an equally futuristic steering wheel while driver information is projected like a heads\u2019 up display.<\/p>\n
