Constructed with an all-aluminum chassis and body, the Z8 is powered by a 4.9L S62 V8 engine that made it capable of generating 395 horsepower alongside 369 pound-feet of torque. That kind of power, combined with its 50\/50 weight distribution, enables the Z8 to get up to 60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. In addition, back at the turn of the century, Car & Driver tested the vehicle and found that it was capable of outperforming the then-benchmark Ferrari 360 Modena in a number of the most important performance states, including acceleration, braking, and even handling.<\/p>\n

Some of the features that were employed in the construction of the BMW Z8 include neon exterior lighting, multifunction controls, a color-matching metal hardtop with stand and rear defroster, and much more. Only 5,703 of these vehicles were produced over its four years of production in Munich, making this a pretty rare vehicle in addition to being impressive on multiple fronts.<\/p>\n
