The company has been in business for over 100 years and it has has always been considered one of the most prestigious car companies in the world. Turn of the Century Marked the Beginning of Rolls-Royce<\/h3>\n

Right as the world entered the 20th Century, Rolls-Royce began to emerge. The company launched its first vehicle in 1904, the 10 Hp. It wasn\u2019t until 1907 when Rolls-Royce developed the Silver Ghost that they established themselves as a premier car brand. In fact, several years later the Silver Ghost would be called the best car in the world! \"HistoricalThat\u2019s a recognition that quite a few Rolls-Royce vehicles have received now, but it all started with the Silver Ghost. This model lasted until 1925 when Rolls-Royce replaced it with the New Phantom.<\/p>\n

Built for Luxury, Tuned for Speed<\/h3>\n

When the 1930s arrived, Rolls-Royce was beginning to establish itself as not only a benchmark for luxury vehicles, but for speed and performance as well. With the development of the Phantom III, Rolls Royce also launched its first V12 engine. Rolls-Royce vehicles were also being used to shatter speed records. The first record was set in 1933 at 272.46 mph by Sir Malcolm Campbell and was broken in 1937 by George Eyston who reached 312.2 mph.<\/p>\n

Luxury Fit for a King\u2026 or Queen<\/h3>\n

As Rolls-Royce continued to grow and develop new vehicles in the 1930s and 1940s, it was in 1950 when the company once again would make a significant mark on the world. This was the year that the company replaced Daimler as the preferred car manufacturer for the British royal family. The first Rolls-Royce was a Phantom IV delivered to Princess Elizabeth. The Phantom IV was designed specifically for British royalty and heads of state. It is still considered one of the rarest vehicles of all time with only 18 being produced.\"1980s<\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce Brings Excitement to Luxury Vehicles<\/h3>\n

While the decades continued to roll along, Rolls-Royce continued to develop some of the most powerful and seductive luxury vehicles in the world.
