It\u2019s our favorite time of year, and there are plenty of events here in North Miami Beach FL and the nearby area for you to get into the spirit and celebrate! To help you find one, we thought we\u2019d list a couple of good suggestions for you to consider, so check them out below.<\/p>\n

If you want to celebrate Christmas right, AND do it right here in North Miami Beach FL, then you do not want to miss the Snow Fest & Community Safety Day Parade<\/a> on December 9th<\/sup>, from 6-11:00 p.m. Admission is free and the event will take place between 164th<\/sup> and 171st<\/sup> on NE 19th<\/sup> Ave. With live music, assorted rides, tasty treats, and photographs with the jolly old guy himself \u2013 not to mention SNOW! \u2013 plus much more, this event is sure to be one for the ages.<\/p>\n Christmas isn\u2019t the only holiday during this season, of course. So, if you\u2019re of the Jewish faith and looking for an exciting event to participate in as well, you won\u2019t want to miss the Menorah Lighting Ceremony<\/a> right here in the City of North Miami Beach. Taking place at the median outside of City Hall from 6-8:00 p.m. on December 13th<\/sup>, the lighting will feature traditional music, kosher refreshments and tons of activities for the whole family.<\/p>\n Finally, if you\u2019d like to do something a little different than the norm you can head to Ft. Lauderdale on December 9th<\/sup> around 6:00 in the evening for the Winterfest Boat Parade<\/a>. All sorts of floating vehicles will be decorated to the nines with tons of lights and other holiday decorations, setting sail at 6:30 from the New River before traversing the Intracoastal Waterway to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach.
